Birthplace of Historic Route 66

Whether you are looking for good food, friendly people, interesting photo opportunities, or just a little fun you'll find it in Seligman.  Visitors have referred to Seligman as "a delightful town", "a step back in time", "eclectic", "a really cool pit-stop", and "one of the high spots of the Route 66 trip".  Seligman is a favorite stop for tour buses as well as individuals on road trips traveling the longest stretch of Route 66 or taking I-40 to the Grand Canyon.

Seligman is in the heart of beautiful high desert Northern Arizona.  With the mountains to the east, the desert to the west, and the Grand Canyon to the north there are things to see and do in nearly every direction.

Route 66 Fun Run

In the spring of every year, Seligman is the starting off point for the annual Route 66 Fun Run, a 3-day event which has been referred to as a “150-mile rolling party on wheels” for hundreds of classic car and truck fans and anyone else who wants to drive Route 66 and have a good time.  It’s a great opportunity to see what Seligman is all about as well as the other towns and attractions on the longest stretch of the Mother Road.
